We use AI tools to help us work. People stay responsible for what we publish.
What AI helps with
- Researching a topic and suggesting an outline.
- Drafting and editing text, and checking that it stays clear and simple.
- Checking spelling, reading level and consistency.
What people do
- A person reads and edits every guide before it is published.
- Facts are checked against the sources listed at the end of each guide.
- Personal stories come from our writers' real lives, never from an AI tool.
What we never do
- We never publish AI-made pictures of people as if they were real.
- We never present an AI-generated text as a reader's opinion or a product test.
Audio versions
When a guide has an audio version, it uses an AI-generated voice, and we say so next to the player. The full text is always on the page. Audio never plays on its own.
